Just bought the passport SE from Kijiji today. Everything looks good so far.
But the power button on top is almost flush - so it's quite difficult to press. Is this normal or my unit is defective? Is the power button supposed to be the same as the volume buttons, little bit out protruding?

It's pretty flush on the Q10 so I'd say it's normal but I haven't had the honor of checking out the PP. Congratulations on your purchase though!

On passport it stands out a bit.
On passport SE it is flush with the frame.

My SE the button is flush with the frame (if you look from behind you cannot see the button )

I have the same SE as you. On mine, by feel the button is subtly raised, even though visually it appears flush.

I would say 0.1 - 0.2 mm, it's almost invisible, but it's touchable.

Thanks guys for the reply. So it looks like my unit is not defective after all. I just need To get used to the power button.

Slowly getting used to the physical keyboard though.

Alternatively you can use the swipe gestures or the advanced interactions to wake up your phone rather that press the power button. Enjoy the beast, you'll be thrilled, no doubt.

I rarely use the power button. No need to.
I have had the passport since October 2014.
Maybe I have used it once every 3-4 months.
It's not an iphone. The battery lasts forever. The screen turns itself off and you just swipe to wake up.
