So whenever I take a call, finish the call and take the phone away from my ear, the screen stays black no matter what I do. It only reacts to holding down the top button for a while, and I then have to cancel the shut down. It's driving me mad because when I call people and they don't pick up, I end up leaving them voicemails of me swearing at my phone trying to get the screen to wake up.

Anyone got any ideas what this could be? Other than that, this is a fantastic device and I expect this is a software fault.

I am having the same problem. The only fix so far is doing a reset and then it doesn't do it again for a while. Idk what the permanent fix is but stick around to see if anyone does. Lol

Same here, only happens after the. 908 update, didn't have the problem with the shipped version (I think it was.675).
It doesn't happen on every call though, but most of them.

I don't know which release I'm running. I'm just using the out-of-box OS. I hope they solve this soon because it's driving me insane.

Strange problem. I don't have that problem on my Passport at all.

Bought mine unlocked from ShopBB and I'm running 10.3.0.908. Let us know if it goes away once you update.

Running the same OS Version and have the black screen issue. I thought I was alone, now I know misery loves company!
