    I was wondering if it is possible to use android app for texting?
    I've tried to use Textra but results were negative. Messages weren't sent.

    The main reason I want to use android app for this purpose because I want to use custom keyboard with custom symbols. That would be a way around BBOS lack of keyboard languages.

    No. Android apps don't have access to the telephony stack on BB10

    Hve you tried to install a keyboard app and test it works with normal texting app?
