For anyone who's tried the passport out. Is it possible to lay it down and type on it as if it was a laptop keyboard, using all fingers? Is it wide enough for that?

Wouldn't be easy. Despite being wide, if you hold your fingers out in front of you as if you were going to type - you'd find it far far wider than the device is. You may be able to type using just your first three fingers on each hand, but that's about it.

No, but you could hook up a bluetooth keyboard if it suits you.

It still isn't big enough, nor is it QWERTY. There are actually plenty of situations where it would be great to be able to type full speed. For me, it is while my device is tethered HDMI and i am typing as I teach or in a meeting. HDMI out is a major requirement for me. That is when a BT keyboard comes in handy. I have the BB keyboard and like it, but make too many typos and am not fast enough on it to use that way.

Three fingers is good for a phone honestly... You can be super quick with that

Maybe you could use your right and left index fingers.

Comfortably youd have to have the phone laying down for that unless for a very concise message...
If you try just holding your phone that way youre basically only using your pinkys to hold the phone

You would have to lay the passport flat and peck away with your index fingers.
