I have a PC that cannot connect to Wi-Fi. I have a hotspot that my Passport connects to. Now I want to share that with my PC. How to do that? When I choose tether I have to enable data and the connection is not going through Wi-Fi. I am able to do the same using an Android phone. So is there a way to do it? Any third part apps for BB 10?

Unfortunately I don't think the software allows this.

You could use bluetooth to connect.

You can look into Easy Tether Pro or Internet Share (SOCKS5) in BBW to see if either accomplishes what you intend.

I've used both on Verizon Z30 to tether my phone to a laptop when I'm on the road from time to time and both perform well through the USB connection. I'm using the data plan of my phone though, not a Hotspot. Easy Tether is also capable of tethering via the Bluetooth connection. It's worth a shot.

Tethering in quick settings is bluetooth. Try HotSpot, that is Wifi

That is for sharing a mobile network with a computer over wifi. I think qlambda wants to share whatever wifi the phone is connected to with the computer.

Unless you find a solution (maybe semime's post helps?), you may want to buy a Wi-Fi adapter for the computer.
I see a Wi-Fi to USB adapter on Amazon for less than $10.

The wifi adapter in his PC is AFU. Otherwise he'd just connect to the same network his Berry is using.

Ohhh. I'm prettyyyyyy sure you can plug in via USB and use it that way to tether it. See attached pictures.

I think this only allows sharing the mobile network. The question is about sharing the Wi-Fi network

The PP as a range extender. Doubt it - it will only share the mobile data connection.
