Also heard some that purchased the previous Porsche Design handsets are setting them down for the Passport...
I was thinking, what would a Porsche Design Passport look like? Do you any of you think one is in the works?

I have never spent that much money on a phone before but I might very well be tempted - especially if it's an all black model with wild keys and the Porsche design clock built for this form factor.

    Holy Square Porsche Batman!!!
Maybe 64gb device memory!!! A dual sim card slot!!!

It would probably be the best selling Porsche design device since it's actually specced nicely.

Would be interesting how they would change the design form. Not exactly much room to sculpt a different design unless the device became bigger!Maybe just a new keyboard design/material, sapphire glass screen/camera lens, leather back, anodised black frame and bigger internal storage.

I sure hope so. BlackBerry has been tackling my pockets recently. I wouldn't be able to resist.

I couldn't imagine the price tag on such a device! But it might be worth the stay in the "dog house" for awhile.

The Passport is cheaper than the Z10 was.

In-line with that, the PD Passport should also be cheaper than the P'9982. However, the variables might be the success and elegance of the original Passport.

I was just having Dim Sum with a friend and showing her my two-phone combo, Passport and P'9983.

Yeah, my dream phone is a lovechild of the two. I hope it is based on the Passport 2 (Chen said there would be at least one more iteration), so we get both improvements on the Passport and improvements on the design and materials.

I'd personally go for a device sized in the middle of the two, with a 4-row touch keyboard. They can charge me all they want if they deliver that in 2015.

It'll come out when the device is obsolete and the new BlackBerry is about to be launched.

DBones1021: Daily driver is the 9983, on account of its size mostly (one-handed typing is still very important to me), and swappable batteries are a must.

If I'm out doing business and carrying a bag, the Passport is usually in there as it's handy for some tasks and I do enjoy showing it off because it's different. I use it on wifi when available, or the 9983's mobile hotspot (no SIM usually).
