BB doesn't release updates like these without going through various betas first. If there are any issues with it spoken in the forums, it's most likely a user-end issue.
    hahahah

I've reported many of the bugs that i'm getting with the bug reporter i was given to by them, all the way back in august. None of the bugs have been fixed that I reported. Utter crap

everyone in the beta group has been reporting all these issues that were seeing people get bashed about. The beta group was a failure because blackberry couldn't utilize it and wouldn't listen. On another note fanboyism also killed it.

It took a year of constant development to get this OS out. There is no excuses for this crap

I'm a bit ambivalent about the whole thing actually. I was on the AT&T "leak" and it was perfect! Battery life which was mediocre was suddenly mind blowing and the whole device just really flowed and felt complete. It continued to feel complete until the official update but battery life was back to being less than satisfactory and suddenly Maps, the one app I rely on everyday would lose my location everytime I hit "Start" no matter how many times I tried. Out of the blue I received a notification that I had another update a couple of days ago, but it had the same release and OS numbers as what I already had. It was only 2MB big so I thought what the heck. Since then battery life is back to being amazing but Maps is still troublesome but I'm able to connect to my location after 5 or 6 tries.

Until they fix all the little issues they have with it completely the update is no better than Meh in my opinion.

Screen flickers and camera focus lags since the update. I hope Bell releases an update OTA soon. They are slow like molasses.

Dunno. It really depends on how you've used the device since you've taken it off charge.

Yes. Amazing battery life and mine was great before. Plus I am one of the majority with no more flicker issues. Didn't apply the patch. Just hard reset a couple times and it went away.

I am NOT HAPPY with the GPS at all. It really sucks for me
I used to love Maps and used it daily even when I knew where I was going as I found the traffic re-routing was far more accurate and timely than my stand alone Garmin. Now, since the 10.3.1 updates, it's right in the crapper. When I fire it up it finds my location accurately and quickly. When I enter my destination it still shows my location on the route map and the visual turn by turn. I hit start and it just sits there saying "Updating Route" until it finally says that it can't find my location! I was hoping the current update that's officially out there would correct the bug but my wife just got it on her Z30 and now her Maps fail in exactly the same way.

I've contacted BlackBerry Help through Twitter but they don't seem to be in any particular hurry to solve anything. They also have suggested that this is the first time they've heard of the issue which flies in the face of what I'm seeing in various forums and such.

On 1779 now. OK-ish but only because I sideloaded the old flash browser. The flicker has disappeared, battery is stable now but is worse than in 3.0.

I don't see why BlackBerry introduced 10.3.1 to the Passport. Worse performance and trivial improvements with loss of flash.
Sideloaded flash or photon browser work as cumbersome and inferior workarounds.
