I have the Q10 with 10.3 and my favorite streaming music app is Rdio.

It works on the Q10 but just barely. When the phone locks it starts to stutter. After playing for 30 minutes or so it starts to stutter.

    Force closes at random.

Has anyone that hasn't given up on Rdio tried it on the Passport and confirm that it works well?

It's actually great. Downloaded the apk directly and works perfectly.

It works like a charm. Skip the APK, get it directly from BBworld.

I think he is thinking about Rad.IO... not RDIO.

    RDIO isn't in BlackBerry World.

hit and miss for me... laggy and sometimes crashes. Spotify works better but rdio is cheaper so I hope it is getting better

On the latest 10.3.1 and it works very well on my passport, allows full offline mode, even the bluetooth controls work to change tracks/pause/play.

Now that Spotify is available in Canada I told Rdio that i was taking my $9.99 per month elsewhere. The Spotify Android app works perfectly and spotify is a better service.

I haven't used Rdio. But I do have paid accounts on Pandora, Live365, and a Prime account for Amazon music. Plus free accounts for TuneIn Radio, Songza, Spotify, Slacker, Heartland Public Radio, and SoundCloud. Yes, most rely on Android versions and some need Adobe Air. What I see of Rdio, if you can't find a working version, some combination of what I have should cover it and keep you very happy. Just a thought.

Fair enough. I think Pandora and Spotify are good. But both of these are not available at quite a lot of places I travel to.

I think Rdio is awesome because :

    1) It works in Canada.
    2) Playlists are implemented well (public, collaborative, active).
    3) finding new music is easy.
    4)And, I love Rdio

Sounds like you have lots of experience getting Rdio to do what you want it to. Sometimes, that's more important than what they say they can do. I hope you find it.

The Android app works well. You convinced me to try it. And, now that I have, I discover it's also available on my Fire TV stick. I'm listening on that, right now.
