Does the passport's keyboard support the pinch to zoom feature? BlackBerry claims the capacitive keyboard is for keeping your fingers off the screen as much as possible to keep it clean. I would think pinch to zoom would be a logical feature?

It would be, but I have a feeling it won't be.

Software driven just as much as hardware. So can add functionality is my opinion.

You don't need zoom to pinch, you have I to zoom in and O to zoom out

I don't think so because I'm pretty sure it has only "one" touch point for the keyboard. Remember reading that somewhere..

BlackBerry introduced the "Touch finger ID" in 10.3 which is basically an ID for each touch point you have on the surface. So it may have more than one touch points at a time.

Technically, pinch to zoom is possible. Don't know whether BlackBerry bakes it into the OS (great!) or devs have to implement that themselves.

I was not able to confirm 100% about whether BlackBerry bakes the pinch to zoom into the OS or not.
I know 100% the touch-enabled keyboard has multiple gesture so technically pinch to zoom is possible. See my other post.
