I need to upload some pictures I took with my passport to a website, however, they are rejecting them because they are too large. I don't see an option to reduce file size in camera settings. Is there an app that could do it or did I not see something in the camera settings? Thanks in advance.

You can try Effetica Effetica or use an online site Postimg Postimage.org - free image hosting / image upload
Although I like effetica, it was not able to reduce mb size of the pictures.

I was able to easily accomplish this with windows 10 however. Just navigate to the folder where the pictures are. Under picture tools go to edit, then modify pixel size to your liking. This will reduce mb size of image accordingly.

I use "SimpliSize", an app at BlackBerry World, which works simply&easily. My favourite, however, is "Photocrush", but this is not available for the Passport yet. I have it on my Z10 though.

Effetica can resize photos by reducing pixel size.

You can use Snap2Share for this.

I have used a simple work-around a few times. When you Share Pictures via email from the Passport, it gives an option for Image Size - Original, Medium or Small. I generally use the 'small' option (which dramatically reduces the Picture File Size) and the Picture Quality seems almost the same as the original! When standard Passport Picture File sizes are an issue, I email myself the Pictures and use the smaller size Pictures for subsequent sharing.

If only the 'Image Size' functionality could be made available as a stand-alone Application...!!

Thank you, AshokGov, for uncovering this much-needed option. The "small" selection reduced a 1.5MB file to 180KB. I encourage Blackberry to incorporate this resize option into the Pictures-->Edit options of a future update. The Share-->Resize Image options only work for email, not for social media. Another clumsy aspect of the existing system is the displayed attachment size for the email to be sent does not show the reduced size.

Also, try out a program called Image Resizer available in Blackberry world. free, and simple but does the job.
