Hi guys, is there a way to take lower quality/size photos with the passport? Alternatively, is there a way to easily trim down the size of a pic while sharing it?
    Thanks

I know that if I'm sending a photo by email, I'm always asked what size I want to send. Otherwise you can use the editing features to crop the image and save it before sending. Does that help?

Thanks for your reply. I'm running stock 908 and I don't think I have that option when sending emails

I would like to scale down photos. 13 MP is overkill for a lot of things.

Stock OS allows you the option of small, medium or large on sending an email.

That's what I'm running. Perhaps it's not an option due to your email software?

Upon sending an email containing photos this option should pop up.
This photo that is only 617kb even triggers the size option.

Just send an email with an attachment and that option didn't pop. Maybe not doing something right

That is what I would also recommend to resize your photos. Besides you get a ton of other options to edit it further. Best mobile picture editing app IMO, worth every Cent.

Is it just me or can't you resize an image when sending an txt/mms...doesn't it make more sense to do it for mms then emails so if you can in email, why not mms!

And before you say just email.. I'm sending pics to my mom who's a senior and barely knows how to open the app on her iPhone let alone how to open an email, download and save attachment etc. there are times where simplicity is best and bbos shines vs bb10 in that regard. Photos doesn't allow resizing, seems stupid to have to open photo in a different app just resolved to a smaller file size...

Bump. So I just took 5 pictures and tried to email them. COULDN'T DO IT. File size too large. Could attach 2 of the large images ~6mb each and then got the option to resize. THIS IS AN AWFUL USER EXPERIENCE. I usually don't need or want native sized pictures. I can't open another app and resize 6, 12, 18 however many pictures i need to share via an email attachment. I'm so disappointed. The resize processing needs to occur before you hit send, not after. Having the option after doesn't help me attach more than 2 pictures to an email.
