Using passport phone
OS version 10.3.0.1418
Software Release 10.3.0.908
Model. SQW100-1

When I answer a phone call the person I am talking to says my voice gets very quiet and they can barely hear me. I can hear them just fine. If I use the pouting mic and earbuds or hands-free via bluetooth all is good. Is anyone else having this issue or do I just have a bad mic. Thanks

i've had the same issue with z10 it was the mic but my phone was 1 year old and i found the screen with everything on it for 13 dollars on amazon, easy to replace . you can also find just the mic for 2 bucks but you got to have a small soldering gun and a magnifier to replace that one.
mine it went bad from moisture in the air.

I think my phone might also have this issue. What is your device's date of manufacturing please? Mine says 10/11/14 on the box.

Are you sure you're not covering the actual mic located to the left of the micro USB port?

Or possibly even the two mics on located next to the rear camera?

Yes all are clear...noticed my volume suddenly drops shortly after I answer
