It loads OK, BUT .. you will be stuck on the tutorial as there is no way (yet) you can pass the clan this part:


I remember using the magnify mode I can overcome this on BlackBerry Q10 - but not on the Passport unfortunately

There is a way if you have another BlackBerry device. Install and play coc on another BlackBerry device, get past the tutorial at least then back it up. Load the backup to the passport and viola!

I have it loaded on my Z30 but I'm afraid that if/when I grab the passport it might look a little weird on the 1:1 screen.

The photo didn't load up....any chance you can upload it again??

I switched device from Z30 to Passport last week and the Clash of Clans
Works flawless for me.

I thought the square screen would save me some panning but it's basically the same experience. You still have to pan the screen a lot.

What OS was running on your Z30? I'm doing the same thing but I can't backup and restore my game. I have OS 10.3.0.296.

When I do full backup and check the data. I see 115 MB beside blackberry runtime and (0 MB) beside clash of clan. Is that normal? I'm thinking that is my problem.

Can you please check your settings and confirm if you get the same results as I do?

Probably not... haven't played campaign mode for a long time so didn't realize it until now

I have put away my Z30 and it was on 10.3.0.1418 (the OS version, not the software release version). And I am not sure how to check the data in backup.

The backup and restore works for me from long time ago, I think it was before 10.3. I just do a full backup every time before I upgrade or switch device, then later i just restore and the game would be restored. Nothing special needs to be done.

I did do once restoring Clash of Clans only from the full backup file, instead of full restore, it worked too.

If you want to backup clash of clans, you got to include BlackBerry runtime.

did you restore the full backup from z30 to passport to get it working in passport or use device switch? thank you appreciate it.

Coc should run smoothly. If you restore from z10, z30, then make a back up. Choose restore only COc, make sure you choose "blackberry runtime" too. Full restore I did not try. I try this way and everything is fine. Have funs!

I moved from z10 to Passport with a back up


As others said include runtime... however suggested going from same os branch back ups ie 10.3.1 to 10.3.1

I downloaded from Snap a few hours ago, changed the size to 'Rectangular'. It works just fine, at least I haven't had any issues yet
