I installed the patched version of the youtube app on passport silver edition. I get a message no connection or connection offline. Earlier the patched version was working fine and the native app on BlackBerry is also working fine..anybody facing the same problem???

Where did you get the patched app?

I downloaded the you tube app from play store and then patched through gmaps patcher.

In that case, your best bet is to post your question in that thread. Those subscribed to the thread have the most experience with the issues.

Iirc there's a specific prepatched apk you need. It's probably on cobalt's Google landing page.

You may also have to have cobalt's Google services whitelist app installed if you don't already have it.

Might help with your issue, might not.

I have the android youtube app functioning without any issues. I followed the instructions on cobalt's landing page and cobalt's whitelist page.
