I removed my screen guard as I it gave an oily look and didn't like it. So removed it and now my passport is without screen guard. Is it safe? Any suggestions?

it will deal well with fingerprints and cleaning, just be careful of pocket texture, and remember it only takes one little pebble of sand to scratch glass I believe

It can be scratches with sand for example, so it's not totally safe. I use my phone without a protector for some time now and it's still as new, but I can't see what the future holds for me. Lol

    "Safe" is relative.

Could it survive a drop? Probably. But depends on how high and all that.

And if you put it in your pocket, one key, one coin, one scratch against the billet of your jeans could scratch the screen. You could put it face down and later on notice a scratch.

I would just get a new screen protector, but that's just me.

Mine is actually also still fine! I do know the screen can get scratched as my note 4 did as well and it used gorilla glass 4 which is even "better".

I gues some are just lucky and didn't get any scratches.

I got the Zagg HDX protector from the AT&T store and had them put it on for me. It's really nice. Fits great!

Mine actually has a scratch just above the keyboard just from going in and out of my jeans pockets. I think it may have rubbed against the zip on my jacket. It makes me sad everytime I see it.

There was an OEM screen guard? I did not see one with my At&t Passport. Does anyone know if there is a tempered glass screen guard for it? I have heard that the ones made for the original Passport do not fit.

I'm sure there will be some glass screenprotectors for the att model, but I'm 100% sure there won't be as many as for the original pp

Safety is a relative term. I have been running my Passport naked for 3 months now and knowing it could scratch or fall if it get caught with the bad conditions. But I never keep my phone in the same pocket with other hard and sharp objects, and even though it has been dropped two or maybe 3 times, it is still as good as new.

It's not bullet proof, but it's very very sturdy.

I am more picky in this regard. As beautiful as it may be, I always have protector on all my phones. I try to keep them as new as I possibly can.

yes, if you work in an environment where the phone got exposed to sand everywhere then it can be scratched very easily. I have one on anw. It does not affect anything if you have a good one on
