I Did a security wipe on my Passport it only completes about 53% of the wipe progression and then appears to turn off the device. The screen still has a very dim glow but no progression bar is visable. Its been almost 24 hrs with no change.
Restarting the device (by holding the on/off button for 10 sec) just repeats the same results and at 53% of the wipe progress all activities stop the screen goes blank again.
I really would like to find a solution to this.

Try seeing if an autoloader will grab the device . Check the leaked OS section ( read the tutorial if you have never used one) and grab an autoloader for a passport. What OD was the device on?

Originally, autoloader would not connect or see the device but about an hour ago the PP finally displayed the infamous "www.bberror.com.bb10-0015" message. From there I was able to connect and reload the operating system .
Just going restore the backup.

Glad it worked out. I've had a couple situations where the autoloader won't grab it , but it's rare.

Hi, can you please help with my passport which also is showing the same bberror 0015 message. BlackBerry Link on my Windows 10 PC cannot reload the OS/firmware for the phone. Always says that the restore has encountered an error. I am at my wits end here and I promised this phone to someone. This whole process is just stupefyingly confusing.

Just grab a Passport Autoloader from the Leak Section in the forums and wipe your device with it. You don't need Link to do this.

That's a wrong autoloader. No wonder you bricked your phone.

If you are using a windows laptop, right click the file and choose the option extract. If that option is not available, go to Google and download and install 7zip. Once installed, right click the autoloader file and choose extract.
After extraction, you will have autoloader.exe

Okay. Here we go. Follow this steps:
1. Download this file: http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar
(don't extract it)
2. Download this radio file too: http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar (also don't extract it)
3. Now download DBBT tool made by Darcy. You will find it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nsh9vxif0a...1.0.1.rar?dl=0 (you need to extract this file. It will show about 3-4 documents after extraction. Click on the .exe file)
4. Once it opens, go to the option "Build Autoloader"
5. In slot one, click and choose the file you downloaded in step 1.
6. In slot two, click and choose the file you downloaded in step 2.
7. Now you will see a space to name the autoloader, you can input "Passport Autoloader 10.3.3.2205"
8. Now click build.
9. When it's done, it will open a folder with the autoloader in it.
10. Click the autoloader, connect your device and revive your passport.

Where were you able to download this file? This file is the same as the one in the first step I posted above but you don't need to extract it.

The links I just posted above seems to be dead links.

If you can still download from there, just download the radio file (it's about 34mb in size)

Then follow the steps 3 - 10 above.
