Got a confirmation email about 5 hours ago, and it reads that the release date for Red has now been pushed back to Dec. 7 like the White variant. Should I contact Blackberry directly to see if this was a misprint in the email? Seems as if they just copied the emails from the other pre-ordered devices but didn't change the release date. I'd rather not wait this long for my PP, especially when it was originally scheduled to release/ship this Friday according to the ShopBBUS site...

I actually ordered the day they were made available (24th), the ship date for my red one is still the 28th with an expected delivery of Dec. 1st.

Should have gone through Amazon but the link in the article I read took me straight to the ShopBB site. Haven't heard great things about DR but if I have my device in a timely fashion once they ship on the 7th (payed extra for Express option) then I'll be a happy camper.

ahhh love at first sight... This thing is awesome and it really is a head turner. Most of my family are busting my balls given that they're all iphone people but once I started showing the keyboard off and the advanced interactions, suddenly the mood changed from condescension to intrigue.

I really wish they could have marketed to this to the US consumer in a joint effort with the carriers cause it really is a gamechanging device but such is life.. Everyone else can have their iphone, I friggen love this baby two days in.

I honestly feel the same way and have had the same type of feedback from iPhone users.

Yep, I don't expect them to ever start thinking about switching in the near term but I'm hopeful once BBM Vid chat gets out on cross platform, then I can start slowly drawing them back to the darkside.

This is the exact type of phone BBRY needed to come out with though. And processor is absurdly fast right now, the phone is moving too fast for the swipe animations to keep up.
