Passport has greater processor and ram and pixel/resolutionin regards to iphone but still sms thread are not fluent & fast as they're in iphone. Overall passport is not as fast as it should be.

And what is exactly your question?
Do you have tested both devices?

I owned a 6+ before switching to PP and I don't regret it. I like both devices and they have pros and cons. It boils down to how will you use your phone. But for me BlackBerry for productivity, iToy for tots.

This is a non-starter. When comparing flagship devices, the final decision comes down to personal needs and personal preference.

I use iPhone 6 for about a week. Poor battery, zero productivity..back to passport, got an SE now. Everyone I know using iPhone 6 is a battery junk..powerbank. Every other 6plus owner is a case freak as they break the Glass once in a while, their phones look like bricks.
And my SE is a mechanical beauty, naked as always.

Everyone of you is absolutely Right & no doubt passport is much much better in many ways one thing I'm pointing out is that it the sms app is not fluent & smooth as it is in iphone while it has only 1gb Ram & slower processor than passport. Sometimes long thread loads slower & freezes while it doesn't happen in iphone no matter how long the thread is. This is what I'm talking about.

What do you mean exactly? Like lagging when scrolling? When opening?

I may be wrong, but iPhone's text messaging is iMessage when messaging an iOS device. This is as smooth as BBM is, at least for me when I use iMessage on my iPad or iPod touch.

I've never noticed a lag within even the SMS functionality..
