Passport virus funny behavior-img-20150919-wa000.jpghi guys love the passport. I've been playing around with a few apps of playstore and downloadin music with frostwire. Everything seemed fine until I decided to delete the data out of the frost wire directory phone restarted and the behavior of the phone changed see attached pic.
I can't for the life of me delete this data anybody got any advice before the dreaded security wipe.

You could try the Ghost Commander file manager from BlackBerry World.

Could you please give us a hint where to find the directory where the apps are installed?, I also installed Ghost Commander, but I can't find the directory for apps.

    Thanks

Just scroll down until you see a directory called Applications. That should take you to your installed apps. Some screenshots for reference.

I recommed to delete the word "virus" from your thread title.
The titles are searchable in the net and can biase a searching engine.
Later innocend users who read about phones to chose to buy only read "passport and virus and strage behavior" so they refrain from the passport.

Why didn't you only ask: "how can I delete this App?"
The question is independant from device type and the behavior is not a virus.

Because people are stupid and don't think.

I don't think one thread title is going to influence anyone from buying the Passport.

Excuse me but what would you call it then people need to be aware regardless it's a community for help not just to kiss the blackberrys arse.
If it wasn't appropriate then the mods would change the title.
Plus you would find it was a virus corrupting the android runtime.

    1. You were illegally downloading files/music with a P2P program, whatever happened as a result of that is your problem.

    2. When one hears "virus," they assume it's something that "infects" your device and causes issues. You deleted files from a directory which resulted in your phone acting up; nothing virus-like about that.

    3. No one's kissing BlackBerry's "arse."

I was doing what BlackBerry and there runtime was allowing me and as for deleting files I hadn't deleted any. Files couldn't be deleted and where causing strange behavioral problems to the functionality of my phone. Just what I virus would do.
