I wiped my phone of everything Android this past week, except a few apps that don't required Google Play Services. No more Cobalt. No Snap. No fighting a sluggish Android runtime.

And now I'm more satisfied than ever.

I am completely happy! I went through a period when I was on the fence when I had the double typing and screen flickering issues. But now both have disappeared and my PP runs perfectly, knock on wood. I don't know if it was an OS update or just plain luck but I never exchanged my phone or took it in to be looked at and things seemed to work themselves out. Can't explain how much I love this phone!!

Yeah! I have had mine for a few months and just today I was in a Sheets and a lady said "That's a BlackBerry?! I didn't know they still made those." I just smiled and said yeah they do. Lol. I am always happy when that happens.

That happens to me about twice a week...after the initial shock, there's this curiosity when realizing just how big a screen the Passport has. I do so wish that BlackBerry would launch a marketing campaign to show, first, that they're not gone, and then to show just what mobile communications can be.

I walked into the AT&T store about 3 weeks ago to take a look at the Blackberry Passport. They had NO Blackberries on display at all. The whole store was a gallery of iPhone's or Android phones. No wonder I only see iPhone's or Androids in people's hands everywhere I look.

I honestly haven't seen anyone in my city carrying a Blackberry for a very long time. Oh well, it's their loss. I feel like people are really missing out on Blackberry, but that's just my opinion.

Yesterday, my friend was playing with her Samsung Note 4, which is a really HUGE phone by the way. I dropped my Blackberry Passport in her hands and she smiled and said "What the f-u-c-k is this?" I showed her how it was possible to scroll through documents by swiping on the physical keyboard itself. She said, "Whoa, that's weird!" Haha. She did seem to be intrigued by the phone. She seemed to enjoy playing with my phone for a while.

And yes, I often hear people say "They still make Blackberries?"

    Hello,

I'm about 5-6 weeks in, and pretty happy with it. Every time I pick it up, I am pleased. It really just has a heft that is very satisfying.

I've had the passport since Dec 30, 2014 and I love it! The typing on it is so fluid. I've used all 26 keys for app shortcuts and speed dials. The screen is clear and bright. The Web browser is fast. The trackpad keyboard is absolutely genius!

I was away on vacation for 2 weeks and used my backup Nexus 4 during that time and it made me miss the Passport so much!

    This device is a beast.

Yes largely, but I feel like the OS is getting dated. Android apps just get slower and slower, Google services are becoming necessary for some apps and now Facebook notifications won't even open from the hub. I feel like I'm left behind.

Honestly I love the device and I love the gestures of BB10 but if I'm not able to update this device to Android when the Priv is released, I'm probably going to sell my Passport and get a Priv.

I'm perfectly content with the Passport. I love its uniqueness, just stands out in the crowed.

Started with the Black and here with the Silver.

I love my passport, have had it since December last year. It still does everything I need it to and more. I might still hang on to it for a couple years more, as long as my needs don't change. So far, best device I've owned hands down

Yes, definitely. Use it for work all the time. But I find myself enjoying the Q10 more and more due to the form factor and ease of typing.

you would think someone would've came up with an app. or something that would improve the camera's focus a little.
