I've had mine for a full year and a bit now, very happy with it. Double typing was cured with an update and all's well. So after a year what would I change in the passport.... I'd make it slightly less wide (half to three quarters of an inch) but that's it.

Go to settings apps permissions and go through every app and turn off 'run in background when minimized'.

Thanks, I'll try that! Sort of feel dumb not having thought of that before.

Yep. Played with a Priv last week and was hoping for something to sway me in accepting the change that BlackBerry may go full android.. nope.. PP all day every day. Hope BB10 stays... there is nothing like it out there.

I still love my Passport but I'm a little down because I know it will be the last of its kind. It's a sad realisation because I know my next phone will be an Android device or iPhone.

    So sad...

when you guys saying PP, you are referring to the black original passport and not the SE right?

SE is still not available in my country, don't know if it's ever gonna be available.. But SE is sleeeeeeek....hmm..

Two days in and still love this SE :-)

Waited this long because my Z10 performed so flawlessly but as its the last of the OS10 devices and I really love the OS I pulled the Trigger.

    Nice nice

I use this phone so much I've become aware of the abrupt angles on the sides. It has endeared itself so much that i forgive it for the pain that it has caused. Kiss kiss Sexy passport

This phone is really great. I love how when I type I can slide my fingers across the keyboard going from key to key, all without even looking at the keys!

I know there are lots of people that moved from passport to passport SE. So I got the passport SE a month ago (first passport for me). And I am just in the process of returning it for the black passport (shop BlackBerry version). I love the passport. But the SE feels bigger, too much so. It actually is a little taller and touch wider. But the big difference is on the black, the tapered edges, round glass, and smooth glass make the unit feel smaller. It's easier to slip in pocket and just doesn't feel ridged. The SE is beautiful - and the keyboard is nicer since it doesn't "click" like the regular passport (mainly only thing I noticed but the keys may be a little different). But the SE frame, square edges, and extra metal along the top, really makes the unit feel bigger and a little hard to handle.

So for me I'm on BlackBerry Passport Black and it's all good.

I haven't used the silver Passport at all, just been using the original black Passport. I really do like the black Passport: the click of the keys is very satisfying when typing. I almost feel like if I didn't have the click, the typing experience wouldn't be as satisfying! And yes, the black Passport is large enough as is, no need to make it larger like the silver edition. I doubt the original designer Joseph Hofer had any role in designing the silver edition, and rightfully so.

Last week I went to the UT football game with my little bro.

Used the phone all day...browsing to check scores of other games, taking selfies and snapshots, uploading to Facebook, fm radio to hear game call since the stadium was waaaaay too loud (100,000+), GPS to find directions to a restaurant afterwards

I get home, battery is at 62%....this. Thing. Is. A. BEAST

I've never had a phone with such a great battery

I also had many bars service whereas my bro on the iphone 6 same network had few. For anyone who's ever tried to get a signal had a big sporting event and couldn't, you know how niceit is.

I'm still in that honeymoon phase with my 1 month old Att passport. I love it. Coming from the z30 I still miss the virtual keyboard sometimes, used to love the swiping. Would definitely use this device if the keyboard were replaced with some more screen real-estate.

It's great, but its been a year and the battery is shot. I still wish there was a removable battery so I could simply replace it. Oh well, i'm getting an SE Next week.
