So after updating to AAS on my BlackBerry KeyOne Black Edition, I went exploring around the OS. I stepped into the Convenience Key Settings and look at what found!!! If only this is true. Now the remaining 8 million of us hanging on to our BlackBerry Passports have all the reason in the world to move. Lets hope BlackBerry Mobile is going to make it so! Bye bye BlackBerry 10! We loved ya! But we love our Passports more!

Compare it to the usual BlackBerry KeyOne drawing and you can understand my excitement.

It looks just like a poorly rendered keyone? I don't understand why you're excited over nothing.

Even the buttons and sim slot location match the keyone.

Yup. That's all folks. Could be a glitch. Could be accidental. In either case, it's fun to imagine a KEYone Wide Edition. Hahaha.

like I said before, phablets are the future of where smartphones will eventually go. The passport was an early introduction to this and it still is grabbing people's attention whenever it is seen anywhere. The Android passport will be coming eventually because it was ahead of its time when it debuted on BB10. It was like a Bold 9900 and a PlayBook had a baby and wa-lah! the passport was born! BlackBerry can thank it's lucky stars when in my opinion, it comes back on an Android operating system that is used by the masses a lot more than BB10 ever had and will be a huge success for sure. Here is a link to the future:

Considering they just officially announced the end of bb10 im not sure why you think they would be bringing another device out.

I would trade in my Note 8 yesterday for a Passport running Android. The Passport was the best phone I ever owned

^It still is the best phone per me - and I'm using it everyday. Packed up my Nokia N9, iPhone SE, iPhone 6S and the Sony Xperia Z5. All of which are still working fine but the Passport is the most gorgeous one.

It is just a poorly scaled image of the K1 or a generic BlackBerry phone.

No 3 row keyboard. Maybe a Passport -KeyOne hybrid for all the people who said the KeyOne is too tall?

There is no Android Passport in the works, thanks to it's "illegal" screen ratio. 1:1 ratios cannot function on Android.

This is hilarious everytime someone keep up hope for BB10 and Passport or a Passport running Android. They tried, unless Google somehow miraculously decided to fully support 1:1 resolution. They sure didn't when BB tried 3 yrs ago.

You are wrong my friend abut android can't function with 1:1 screen ratio!
If so none of android watch would be able to work!
Simply Google won't allow phones to have 1:1 ratio!
