I've been watching Craigslist, eBay and other sites waiting for the used price to drop down to something I'm willing to pay. What's your price-point for a used BB Passport? What price would you buy a clean Passport?

A couple local Craigslist for $150 to $180.

I've inquired on a couple of Craigslist post like that. They wound up being a scam to get me to go onto some online bidding site. I gave up on Craigslist. Lol

The cheapest legitimate sales I've found on CL was ~$425. The others were scams as Jamie said.

That is an untrue statement. I sell on craigslist all the time and never disclose my phone number until I had a few back and forth emails with the buyer / seller. Don't need the pranking and all...

I get it. This is a scam for sure. I just wanted to make sure others know that not every single one without a phone number is a scam.

Shipping or if the price is too good to be true.
If you buy use phone you must verify phone by using your sim inside and making calls.

You must have the person cell number and email evidence just incase the phone is not stolen.

For used, I have found $399 as cheapest on swappa or $417 on amazon!
Amazon IMO is nicer because of the CS and return policy.

Probably a long time. Atleast I hope so, because we paid a lot and would like to sell it again in the future.

There's so much that can go wrong with buying used devices on Craigslist or anywhere.

Just buck up and pay the extra amount for a new one. The peace of mind and warranty is worth it.

Just keep an eye on the shop blackberry and amazon coupons and sales.

For a reasonable price, I would have to say around 450, anything lower than that is suspicious, anything higher is just not worth the risk of getting an old one over a new one.

When I get my AT&T Passport, I will likely sell mine used on eBay. I got it with the sale and coupon fiasco for under $500 out the door, so wouldn't mind selling it for $400 with my hardshell, tan flip, and a stilgut white case.

Based on what I have seen locally, passport's are going for around 500 or more. When u factor tax and shipping, it's quite a bit of savings...

Also, the warranty does not transfer on BlackBerry devices. So I would not recommend getting a used one either...

It is pretty shocking that a used TV is so much cheaper than new, yet a used phone is close in price to new, considering they are close in price to start and a phone is more easily obsoleted than a TV.

Especially considering that a used phone has been charged and depleted, and has been touched with a disgusting mouth, fingers, and ears.

I buy my phones used but I hate it until they are covered with my own germs... Probably a week... And I look for bargains.
