If I am lucky enough to get a hold of a Passport here in the US, Who can I activate it with? Would I have to go with ATT or could I use some of those other GSM Pre Paid companies? Like H2O Wireless, SImple Mobile, Net 10... etc...... For those who have the Passport in the US, who are you using???

Yes, the Passport should be fine with any GSM carriers.

I'm on ATT switched from Verizon. Works great. Just make sure if you go ATT you get an IMEI from a current phone that is on ATT so you can get LTE since ATT doesn't recognize the device yet.

I have read that if you get the right tech support person on the phone, they can give you a "dummy" imei number so you can use LTE.

Check the forums because, people have stated you longer need a dummy and/or current ATT IMEI number to get LTE on ATT.....

T-Mobile is highly dependent on your family and geographical situations. For me, in Seattle, T-Mobile has great LTE service. But when I go just about 30 minutes in any direction I'm no longer on their network. I also went on a trip through the states of Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming and had no T-Mobile coverage whatsoever (granted, they let you roam on AT&T for about 50 mb, then no data at all). I was able to have phone coverage at times, but again not T-Mobile.

Also, T-Mobile's rates aren't really any cheaper if you're on an individual plan.

I ordered my Passport from Amazon and got it last week. I got a SIM card on ebay and activated it as a Go phone yesterday. It accepted the IMEI without a problem, I just didn't have a Go phone card to load it. I went to the AT&T store and used the kiosk to load it for month-to-month, it is 4G LTE. In my area, I think AT&T has better network coverage, but I still have my main line on my Z30 on Verizon.

I initially went the go phone route to test out the Passport and AT&Ts coverage around my area. Liked the Passport and pleased with AT&Ts coverage so I switched from Verizon to a no-annual contract plan.

Yes you will. As some people are reporting, Some Passport IMEIs will get LTE. Mine did not, so I just gave them my VZW Q10 IMEI and I started getting LTE. So try the Passport one first, if that doesn't work, use an IMEI from any carrier device as long as ATT carried the device at one time.

I activated my new Passport two days ago with AT&T and it gets LTE service just fine. They plugged in the IMEI from the Passport and activated it right up with a new SIM.

Yea, looks like they added the Passport to their system. When I activated mine, they hadn't put it in there yet. Definitely makes it easier for everyone moving forward
