Either my search skills are weak or I'm blind but someone told me a couple places to get passport unlocked and I can't find that thread. I believe one place online only cost 17$? Anyways it has to be online and work for Telus because I'm stuck in a remote camp and fly out from here to the Philippines directly. No time to stop a shops and Telus won't unlock anyways.

Tried Unlockmenow and I have been waiting for more than 39 hrs, but still no code. I emailed them after 24 hrs and no response. I hope this company is legit. I will wait until Monday before contacting PayPal for refund.

Sometimes I wonder if these small sites are just 1 or two people and they might take unexpected vacations from work hehe. But regardless..i did unlock my passport and Z30 through them recently

Yeah its pretty sketchy eh? Especially considering carriers want 50$ to unlock (except Telus who want 90 days of activity then will unlock for 50$ sMH) and this site only charges 14$

Yeah. Sucks if you were leaving the country like I just did and couldn't swap Sims until you get your email..and getting the email would be a pita.
But in the end you saved $

Not necessarily, most people in the carriers head office had access to getting codes. I know a few carriers have switched their systems so that a ticket has to be opened for a code to be generated. So perhaps these sites will get more expensive in the future.

Not everyone has access to the codes right away. Takes a bit for BlackBerry to push them out.

That's the answer we are all looking for. So the codes are purchased from blackberry? I'll count myself lucky then Cuz I got mine from these guys.
