Its crazy, i've been trying to buy one since 3 days without luck. I looked in almost all shops and they all sold out. Axiom telekom and Version stores one of the largest mobiles retailers here's sales person inform me they have already received 3 or 4 shipments and all sold out in a matter of an hour.. they said they cant fulfill all booking they have for people paid already deposits for their phones. I must wait 1 week at least to get mine if I pay deposit now. makes me wonder is it that good?? By the way Iphone 6 and Note 4 available every where here in UAE

Yeah, demand seems to have outpaced supply by quite a bit. Is your deposit fully refundable? I wouldn't put it down, if I wanted to take a look at the phone first.

Are you absolutely sure and convinced you want the phone? If so, and you trust the seller won't pocket your deposit in return for nothing, then wouldn't putting down a deposit guarantee you'll get a Passport? Maybe even before those who go to buy it when it is available?

I got mine from Dubai. I am not sure how but a friend got one for me it wasn't available in big shops at Dubai Mall etc....

I got mine from the Official Blackberry Shop in Dubai Mall. I did a pre-booking shortly after the Launch (when the initial Launch Stock had fully sold out) and got mine a few days after that. The deposit to be made at the time of the pre-booking is very minimal. For the initial few weeks, the only place in Dubai from where you could get the Passport was the BB Outlet in Dubai Mall.
