Depends on size of your hand. I had an LG G2, which is monstrous to some folks here, but it fits my hands just right. BlackBerry Passport is a little bigger, (3.56inch vs 2.79). I'd imagine it requires two hand operation in majority of time.

I'd think as a PHONE for me, it might be too big as a daily device.

But as a small traveling "tablet" (phablet), it might be interesting, although possibly the other end - too small????????

Likely too big for my comfort - I find the Z30 too big. My Z10 seemed big when I got it, coming from a 9810, but seems sleek now. At least whenever I take it out of it's case lol
Side note - I'll admit that the case makes it the same size (LXW) as the Z30 naked (though about 2.5 times as thick) so I guess you get used to things. While I'd love to see the Passport in action and play around with it, I'm fairly certain that the Classic will be my next daily driver. Wouldn't argue if I could get my hands one for cheap though! Maybe I'll buy a Classic and get work to upgrade me to a Passport, then run with two. . . hmm. . . .

It may be big . . . I wonder if the rumored Z20 is big or small.

I'm still trying to figure out why the square design? The device looks like a ten year old product before it's even been released. I'll be keeping my z10 thank you very much.

I have small hands. Got used to full touchscreen keyboard. Sticking to the full touchscreen BlackBerry, I guess. Unless, Passport will be sold for an affordable price.

I think that the I-Phone 6 is too big. But, I will bet that they sell a ton of them. Passport size looks OK compared to the biggest screen 6 phone.

Too bad, too, because I like the size of my Z10.

I think they may have hit the nail on the head (for me, that is) with the passport's size if the rectangular screen is good for looking at excel spreadsheets. Honestly, even if it is too big, I will gladly put up with a bit of an awkward time lugging it around if I can navigate spreadsheets well.

However, in general I think the perfect size for a smartphone is the z10 with less bezel and more screen size.

The most plausible explanation for the Z20 so far is that it's the "Manitoba" Z3-LTE. In other words, a Z3 with LTE, and possible other hardware upgrades. That would put it at about the same size as the Z30.

There's a company that produced outlines drawn to scale for the iPhone 6 and 6+ today, and I printed them off to see how they'd compare to my Z30. The 6 is just SLIGHTLY shorter and very close to the same width. The 6+ is maybe 3/4" longer and maybe 1/4" wider than the Z30.

Walk around with your actual passport, hold it in your hand, pretend you're typing, hold it up to your ear, put it in your pocket, etc. Then get a feel for if you like the size of a device with those dimensions

I think the best way to know now is to know the dimensions and cut a piece of card board and cut it to the same size if you really want to know

Yep this is what I have been doing myself. I imagine that the passport is around the same size as a British passport and even tho my hands are kinda small..it still feels comfortable in my hands ie typing. Even against my ear, it doesn't feel like a brick as some have said on here.

Looking forward to getting one in my hands but not sure if I'll pick it up straight away or wait for the price to drop.

You must have tiny pockets. The Passport is only 3.5" wide, so it'll fit into any normal pocket, just as an actual passport does.

So far, the only thing that's too big about the Passport appears to be the price tag.

Take your passport, if u own one and put it up to your ear. Do u really need 2 hands to hold it to your ear??? There is no phone out in the market that requires 2 hands to hold it to your ear. Unless you are using a tablet lol.

No need to exaggerate the size of the passport.

It is big but on the good side. And no one should have a problem to hold on to their passport. I agree that the the price is on the higher side.
