My Passport sometimes stutters a little when switching between apps, closing apps or opening apps. Just wondering whether that's a big cause for concern? I'm not overly bothered but I do wonder.

    Thanks in advance.

Blackberry native app or sideloading app?

I've not sideloaded any app as I don't know how to do it without probably making a mistake. And quite many apps, actually. I
wonder if it's related to the battery. Now I'm at 15% (and charging) and the stutter is more obvious.

ETA: In general the stutters are small. They don't cause the apps to freeze or hang. And the apps all work like normal.

Maybe the battery savings mode is on, which limits the cpu performance.

And I would also check if the charger(and the cable) is delivering the required amps while charging.

What os are you on? Type myver and look at the suggested words. Should be the option on the left.

You may be right regarding the battery savings mode (my Passport is still in it now). As for charger, I'm still using my Z3 charger. I guess I should use the one for the Passport?

Most operating systems automatically reduce the CPU clock speed as they sense an issue with the power. I would try charging the phone hundred percent and also disable(or check) the battery savings mode and test the phone for any app stutter.

I think passport requires at least a 850 mAh charger. Also the USB cable gauge plays a big role in charging.

    If possible upgrade to 10.3.2.

It's just better optimized. Mine is very smooth now with the update.

Wow, don't use your z3 charger. The passport comes with a 1300ma charger. You must use that charger to properly charge the battery.
Also, if the phone is in battery saving you will notice delays in performance

No, not really. Maybe when it's charging but not during other times.
