    Is loud static/high pitched whine normal on the Passport? I love the phone but this is annoying. Got it from ShopBlackBerry, do you guys think it's worth an RMA?

    Did you try the headphone that came with it or a different one as well?

    I can slightly hear it on the headphones that came with the phone, along with another set of earbuds I have. Its very obvious/annoying on the Sony MDR-V6s I have, which naturally are my favorite headphones.

    Also, I think I double posted this thread, I'm really sorry about that.

    your other thread has been deleted anyway, I never had issues with my old passport, but if you are experiencing, RMA may be an issue, have you rebooted? Do you have the latest operating system?

    No, phone is unplugged.
