Have you rebooted your device lately? It should be rebooted very frequently, And always after you download an app .

Also, Are you on the latest OS 10.3.2.2789

Hard reboot sometimes helps. I don't reboot mine frequently. Sometimes I go months without a restart.

I usually find when my phone is slow, an app is doing something it's not supposed to be. What does your resource monitor say? Anything unusual?

You wouldn't go that long rebooting your home computer would you? In fact, when you download or upgrade on your PC it TELLS you to reboot to complete the install.
Your mobile device is a highly sophisticated computer. What you do with your mobile device is (of course) your business but it should be rebooted Daily....Yes, Daily!

But that's your call! I can only suggest what I know and have helped hundreds of member for years fix their issues.

I reboot my device every morning when I wake up. It seems to make everything snappier and for the most part keeps the slow-downs away.

Is there battery drainage? I deleted a lot of Android app, and finally found out that it was Kindle (probably just for me) that caused drainage. When there is drainage, the phone is hot and not very responsive. Now I can not be happier with my Passport. The battery life is GREAT.
