Is the blackberry passport being restricted on some flights?

I am thinking about a passport, and if it can fly everywhere or not.

No issues. There are bigger devices routinely carried on planes.

It's the same size of a Passport. I guess out of all big phones, this should not be an issue ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You're certainly talking about the latest US restrictions on flights from some muslim's countries about carrying a phone, a laptop and tablet into the cabin? Aren't you?

Yes, I sometimes fly to Japan, and I take the absolute cheapest flights, and they are sometimes through those countries.

the only issues you would have are the coming to the US from those couple of countries in the latest travel restrictions. Even then you can put in checked luggage to my knowledge.

No really. This a yesterday White House's announcement. Travelers from some countries will not be allow to use even having there devices with them. Only allow in the luggage sections of the plane.

I've just find this on this French media but heard that on twitter yesterday. From NY times.

Wow. This must be the trump card.
Isn't there an international regulation concerning air safety, by which all airlines will not allow devices containing lithium batteries in unaccompanied luggages on passenger planes?
I guess phone sale will increase, lol.

This is a finite problem. The restrictions are only, to the best of my knowledge, coming into the United States from a few select countries. If you fit that criteria then you could simply put your Passport into your luggage.
