Since the release of Z10, I have not seen that blackberry phone is running out of stock. Today when I checked at the Singtel website site, passport is out of stock. So it's a good news for BlackBerry but not that good news for me as I need to wait awhile to get my hand of this beast.

It's not a fair assessment of the popularity of passport in sgp. Because no one company stocks up passport, sad thing to know but its true, because they don't expect much sales on blackberry devices.

These telcos companies would rather spend their resources to stock up on Samsung or iPhone which can generate better turnover for them. Even though I'm a bb fan and never use any other phones other than bb for the past 9 yrs, if I'm in the telco business i would do the same too - not to stock up on bb devices too much based on the lower sales history.

Yeah as many have noted, that BlackBerry is doing a tight control on inventory on a gamble that is the passport.

I will be happy to get the second batch, to be honest.

Whatever it is. Sold out means sold out. Even if it was just 100 phones it's still something.

Out of stock in StarHub too. Possibly tight inventory control?
