I have been searching for skins for passport silver edition. There is one at skinomi and other at UK carbon. Has anyone applied skins to their passport. If so can u share the pics and is it worth spending money. Does it affect the build quality of the phone??

uKarbon brown leather on my original passport.

Pros: love the look, cut outs are great and accurate, sticks extremely well and easy to apply.

Cons: less grip than original finish, could maybe be cut a tiny bit closer to the frame. Isn't real leather :-)

Overall very happy but don't expect it to feel like leather, it's just a textured skin. Wish I could replace the back cover and sim door with an actual brown leather version but this is as close as I will get I think :-) you can feel the edges of the skin although it is not very thick. Overall I would purchase again!

Ukarbon carbon on my OG. It's great but I would have like slightly closer to the edge of the frame.

I have an Imak case. Black with a sandy texture wich realy gives it grip. I hardly adds any bulk. Beautiful case, very cheap(from Hong Kong) only couple a dollars.

UKarbon full skin orange peel on my SE. Fit like a glove, slick, added grip. Also ask for the stickers (free) for the logo. I got the blue ones. Love mine. Awesome quality compared to other regular skins. Check their website for pictures. Will upload pictures of my device when I find another phone to take some.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I use my SE naked at first then made a move to Skinomi mentioned by the OP. While it conferred protection from scratches all around, the back didn't look nice. The skin around grabbed dust easily on the edges and in the end started peeling off. The back skin stayed well but overall it was protection over beauty. I gave it a try with the UKarbon and after about a month it still looks as good as new, front, back, sides, not a single sign of wear or tear. Plus, the installation process was fairly simple and quick, provided you use the hair dryer. I can safely state that if offers both protection and cachet to those like me who like to use skins. But to each one their own. Hope that helps.

I'd be curious to see if other UKarbon users share my opinion.

I took advantage of the UKarbon promo to order the blue cobalt skin and orange logo as a backup. Came in 10 days from the UK to Canada. The customer service experience was really really enjoyable as they sent out free of charge extra orange peel stickers (left, right and top) that wore out at their extremities because of the lack of care from my part. As reminder I had installed the orange peel full skin (see pics posted previously). Love my orange but also can't wait to find an excuse to install the blue one. Had only compliments so far, even from iPhone and droid users
