This thought came across my mind when reading an article on the Rolls Royce "Dawn", the there called "finest cabriolet" in the world, a few minutes ago.

Both devices can be characterized by the following marks:

    - Elegant in shape
    - Strong in power
    - British-like reluctance
    - Eye catcher and head turner
    - A bit clumsy

No wonder British like the Passport Silver Edition so much. All ten reviewers at Amazon/UK gave full five stars. You might think, ten reviewers aren't that many, but Rolls Royces on England's streets aren't either.
    ;-)

Great to hear the feedback on the Passport SE, hopefully the device is selling well over there.

Also, with a little re-engineering, a BlackBerry Passport 2, could even be supreme:

    Dual Sims
    Full frequency bands
    128 gb on board Memory
    Latest Cpu and video chips
    Slightly larger battery
    Better camera
    All metal frame

    A winner for certain.

I think at this stage, the OS is the only issue. People generally love the build quality of the Passport. It's just a matter of if the faithful will buy a Passport with Android, and if the mainstream consumer will buy Android on a Passport. That's the dilemma. Which way to go on the software.

Only thing I am upset is the contact feature. This works weird at time, was the same with my Q10 as well. I love the phone though.

It really is a nice piece of hardware. Feels solid in my hands.

Too bad BB10 can't get traction with the masses.

It's a solid solid phone, I'm a big guy but have taken to using the speaker function on calls a lot esp in the car.

One time I had a looonnnggg phone call and when the call finally ended and I dropped my hand,i felt like I'd just left the gym :-)
