So which phone is better. Is it only the hardware that is different? I swear the internals are all the same. I like the looks of both. Would the original passport be worth it?

Hardware and software is the same. It's just the case that is different, more premium looking.

A lot of people like the SE better. Personally, I prefer the Original.
Even if it is easier to type on the SE keyboard, it's almost entirely an aesthetic question here.
But if it's Original for me, the back of the SE is beautiful. I just don't like the front and the feeling.

Whatever model you choose, Passport is the most beautiful phone on the market.

Personally I prefer the SE for a number of reasons. The keyboard is nicer and has better feedback, thanks to the larger "chin" typing is more comfortable too. The screen is completely flat, so it's easier getting a good screenprotector. I also prefer the texturen back, it has a nicer grip and is much, much less prone to fingerprints.

The original Passport, at least the black one, however is IMO a more subtle device. It's less attention screaming if you want than either the SE or the white and red variants.

After all you can't go wrong with either device, the original models also have good keyboards and as you already stated, the internals and performance are the same, even screen and camera are identical. I'd go for which ever color you like the most!

also, the keyboard feels better than the original. the look is far better too!

Go with the silver edition, although it costs higher than the original. Improvements were made on the SE, so it is better than the original. Although the performance is just the same.

I've had both - PP SE, for: the improved typing experience/the bottom round corners/the grip on the back. Otherwise it all comes down to the look of the phone, and that's totally personal.

This! I think so. PP SE improves things of experience and stability but it is the down of design

The KB of the Passport SE has a substantially softer touch than the one of the OG form factor. Some people complain about the "cheaper" look of the SE model. So Silver is nice, but Black is beautiful. IMOHO

The black original Passport looks like a passport.That is what the idea was. It's interesting,and beautiful.
But I have never used any one of them.
