I 100% concur with this post. It is the greatest bb machine ever built. I own the ATT version and the Silver is better. The build is like a tank and the keyboard is better than the ATT's one. The only other BB that can compare (hardware built wise) is the Classic, and the Keyone comes in 3rd place. Those three are built like beasts. Heavy and gorgeous.
Anyone thinking of buying a Passport do yourself a favor and opt for the Silver. It's amazing.
Did AT&T ever push 10.3.3 out to customers via OTA?
I don't think so. If so, I would've updated. My AT&T currently has 10.3.2.
My SilverPassport has 10.3.3.
May I ask why? I'm not sure what's the difference?
Its odd why my AT&T doesn't have 10.3.3.
My lovely Z30 has it.
Can't find it anywhere (within the border). Don't want to fetch from the US and pay the ludicrous taxes again ($68 CAD). Have three now (OG black, white and red) and WILL grab the rest two eventually. These are 'keeper' phones!
Just curious. I never used autoloader I for updates when I used BB10 devices. I always waited for OTA update from carrier. I bought factory unlocked for the first time with Z30 and then Leap. Eventually the updates would hit my carrier locked devices. Of course, my factory unlocked got them sooner.
I always buy my BB devices from AT&T if possible.
When I stopped using my AT&T Passport, it was on 10.3.2. Guess that's where it's staying. LOL.
The difference between 10.3.2 and 10.3.3 is negligible. Some forum members have used autoloader to update to 10.3.3 with mixed results. Most did successfully update only to state changes were negligible. I remember an instance or two where somebody complained it bricked device or 10.3.3 updated and then a NO SVC issue happened. There's never been a known fix that I remember for the NO SVC issue with Passport.
Because of that, I would be happy on 10.3.2 if still using Passport. Good luck either way and thanks for the response to my question earlier.
Congrats to the OP. While I loved the form factor of my Classic, I needed the speediest and most powerful BlackBerry 10 device out there. So I went all out and got the Passport SE.

That is odd. AT&T pushes the patches a long time ago.

Really? They did for the Z10!

Conite made a comment somewhere around here that last update 10.3.2 was early version too.
Your Z10 carrier locked version right?
Yes. Bought at launch from AT&T. My wife has the same phone. Both updated OTA. I know there were discussions in the forums at the time about it.

I wonder if there's internal metric that ranks the release of updates to certain devices based on initial sales and therefore release pushed out.
An update through BlackBerry Link should work, since the update has been released. I restored my phone last fall with Link and 10.3.3 was available for it.
Link can be temperamental, but works for me without a hitch on my Windows 10 Pro PC that has never had an installation of iTunes. I have to run Link as Administrator.

Super easy to get 10.3.3 using Sachesi too. I just updated my SE and AT&T Passports to the latest build the other day.

Enjoy my passport SE is a monster...........remember the passport is the father of the KeyOne...
The old King of the jungle fighting to stay on top, but still the T-Rex of phones.
Yes that’s me basking in the sun.......the old dog but still the top dog!
The beauty and beast:
Well I am a wee bit sad, having an issue with the Passport and cannot get past security wipe :( thread posted.
the SE reminds me of the design of the Polaroid sx70. gorgeous! I love the black bezels on my at&t though, along with wireless charging and improved keyboard (over the og, I am told).
Why would you put a case on that gorgeous phone? Looks ugly with it on. Let her be freely naked my friend.

Congrats, the passport is the best phone I have owned. Wouldn't trade it. Enjoy it.
