Another vote for the Passport. It really depends if you want Blackberry or Android with a few BlackBerry details. If you think you're getting a BlackBerry with the Priv, you're going to be disappointed. It's an Android device through and through.

    Good luck!

For me, it all boils down to this: Are you a big app user? If you are, as the vast majority of people (IMHO) then I would go with the Priv, another android phone or an iPhone. If you do not need to use many apps and communication such as texting, email and phone calls constitute 90% of your device useage then by all means get the Passport.

I've been using the Priv since release day. After breaking it 2 days ago I have been using my passport and I like it soo much better. The only thing I'm missing is android wear.

Do you want Android? Then look at all Android phones, not just the Priv. There are some great phones out there. For me I can't stand Google, so for me it would be the Passport. Unfortunately, by the time I need a new phone, I doubt I'll have the choice of a BB10 phone, from Blackberry, or BB11, BB12, or BB anything, just BBAndroid.

What would you expect the answer to be in a Passport forum?

Had both and I kept the Passport. I really liked the sleekness of the Priv but the physical keyboard was useless for me. As an iPhone 6 user, I felt right at home w the Passport keyboard and I love working wide. With the addition of Google Play to the Passport it really filled the app gap to about 95% of my needs. With that said, some android apps w wearables don't work to 100% as they do w a dedicated Android device. I do realize the Passport and BB10 is really not a long term mobile solution at this point.

Passport if you're into BB10 and all that jazz (and would be okay to be without certain apps)... Priv if you're into Android and all THAT jazz.

You can get a Priv experience anytime. Get on a Passport and support its continuation.

Passport if you want a nice user experience navigating the OS and killer typing.

If you go Android, I'd go LG V10.
Yeah you don't get the slide out keyboard, but the Priv user interface lacks badly.
The V10 is smooth, and has a way better camera.

I have both and honestly, if you go Android, get a Nexus 6p or something. The Priv is good, but you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere in the Android world. The Passport is my daily driver, irreplaceable. So fluid to type on and navigate. And no lag either (it's 18 months old).

I'm using both I more inclined to BlackBerry Passport because I'm more into emails, messaging and browsing the net but when it comes to games and camera(esp at night I usually go to priv) it will all boils down to the use when I go fitness center to track my workout(from atlas wearable) I go Priv because the app works better there Passports side loaded app load quite slow but like I said I can live with my passport more and if I would pick one I'm willing to sacrifice apps and camera over messaging, music and consistency/simplicity

Never had a passport. Wasn't available on vzw. I loved my z30 and lack of apps wasn't an issue. Lack of updates an the browser going to crap was. I prefer the bb10 experience and absence of Google but can say that my priv is a pretty darn good android experience. Best I've had with android
