    I guess I only have two questions here. Or more like I would like to see what ends up happening:
    Either they underestimated the demand and simply ordered too few devices from BB, in which case they should/could simply order more.
    Or they mis-priced it, and stopped the pre-orders as soon as they noticed. Could be they priced it too low to start with, or maybe they saw the demand and decided they could make more profit on it.

    Which of those it is, time will tell. If they still end up releasing the device at the same price (599) I'd be inclined to believe they simply underestimated the demand.
