Nope, no branding. I have friends that work in print and I've seen very loose mock ups - it's all one word in the traditional sense. No capital "P".

You're the second individual that has brought this up in the last week, here on CrackBerry. I haven't seen this branding yet, however, if this is the case, then yes, some changes definitely need to be made.

I'm pretty sure they are not.

If you look at all the official communications relating to the device, it has consistently been called "Passport"

For PlayBook lovers it's the PassPort. For PlayBook haters and the uninitiated it's the Passport.

Why would anybody ever brand it as PassPort? That's awful.

Considering it's influenced by a travel passport document... we'll go with how BlackBerry has been referring to it... "Passport"

You must not be a fan of the PlayBook name then.

Uh, ya. I'll take BlackBerry's own usage over the GCF, which is where the 'PassPort' nonsense came from anyway. I highly doubt BlackBerry would screw up their own branding on such a thing, especially on so many occasions. Even the sign up page refers to it as "New BlackBerry Passport Smartphone"

BlackBerry Passport... per everything I have seen from BlackBerry so far... I doubt they'd have two capitals in BlackBerry and only one in Passport in error. Plus PassPort looks really stupid.

But as noted above, it's a bit silly.

PassPort would be totally wrong as there is no need to infer that the name refers to ports or their usage. The use of camel case has to be well thought out and not overused.

GCF. The site is full of typos like that. They're not there to protect branding guidelines. They even warn that on their site.

I don't think there was BlackBerry ever called the 'Blackberry P'9982'
I don't think there was ever a device marketed as the 'STA100-2 BlackBerry 10 smartphone'

There was the BlackBerry P'9982 and of course, the BlackBerry Z30 though.

I am not sure what the big deal is. Even BlackBerry in the sign-up email request, refers to it as the "Passport."
