I can't believe I am doing it again.... I ordered a Passport and returned it because my company is on Verizon and if I wanted the Passport I would have to pay out of pocket for it and didn't want to spend the money.... but after reading so many great things about it, I had to have it... I reordered it and it will be here tomorrow... I am a total Blackberry addict....

the keyboard layout gets time to get used to, but i can safely say that after receiving the device early Oct, I'm flying on the keyboard now!

Have to agree here. I've had my device for a week and I'm doing a lot better with the keyboard now. Initially, I sucked.

Take your time and learn everything you can from the forums on how to use the keyboard.

The more I learn about the keyboard and how to use the keyboard shortcuts and different ways to get the virtual characters, using the down swipe to map virtual to physical keys for one key, shift to get " and ; on the virtual row, etc, the more efficient I get with it. And I am way more accurate, very little correction required. It is a good size for typing.

And I am sure more will come with 10.3.1 and beyond.

I hate to admit this but the Passport #2 just headed back to Amazon. I did give it a good test drive. I have found myself so used to touch screens that the actual keyboard is not that important to me anymore. I can fly on the Z30, flicking my way through emails and texts and the inability to use the Passport one handed finally made me realize that the Passport isn't for everyone. Amazing phone, but for me, it's all about the Z30

You aren't going to try and run the device on Verizon are you? It will not work, I am in the same boat and ran it on at&t for a couple of weeks before returning. I don't think I game myself enough time to get used to the kayboard...the size didn't bother me as much as not having the easy access to the numbers/symbol keys.

My Z30 is with Verizon but the Passport was with ATT.. It cost me some shipping and a months service but it was worth it. I love my Z30 more than ever
