Generally I have 40-50% left when I put it on the charger at night but I have always ran out of juice before the phone does.

After acquiring my Passport right after launch, battery life is still great. Major selling point.

Averaging 34-36 hours medium to heavy mixed use. Far better than my Z10 and signifanctly long than my iPhone5, 5s, 6 and 6+ friends. They all still plug in daily. On lighter days I can get almost 50 hours but light use. A few calls, txts, BBM and only 2-3 hours of constant surfing during that entire time.

Once I start having days of 1-2 hours of phone calls, 100s of emails read/replied to, 100s of BBMS and 2-3 hours of heavy surfing that brings me down under 40 hours and a bit more activity and that drops me down below 30. A very heavy day gets me under 24 hours but have never run out of battery during the day.

When I hit the hay at night I usually have ~50% left. I'm on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2072 and my battery life is nothing short of amazing. I don't have to worry about my phone usage at all and many of the days I'm on it for over 8 hours of the day.

Usage is BBM, texting, 4 email accounts, sudoku, around an hour of talk time and Web browsing.

Mine now easily last 2 days or more for average usage. During the first week, the battery life was just ok. Maybe it just needs some time to settle. If you have some Android apps installed, better to download Task Manager and Ghost Commander from BlackBerry World to manage them.

    Hi Notnomde,

How does Task Manager and Ghost Commander help manage Android Apps? Can you expand on this please? As well, Task Manager didn't bring anything up on Blackberry World. Does it go by a different name?

    Thanks!

I pulled mine off the charger at 6 am today. 1 hour conference call and 22 phone calls. Hotspot ran from 10am-2 pm. 3 email accounts pushing mail all day. It is now 8pm and i'm at 38%. :-)

My battery's performance, as odd as it sounds, truly depends on how my service provider's network is 'performing'.

Previously I would always need to disable 4G to get reasonably good battery life. Unplug by 7 AM and barely make it past 9-10 PM. Nowadays I have 4G back on and my batter performance has been great, nothing to complain about. By the time I go to bed at around midnight I would still have about 20-40 % battery left.

So I got my BlackBerry passport last week, and I was having awesome battery life. As I noted in another thread, I took the passport off plug at 11am on a Wednesday and it lasted until 6pm Thursday at 5% charge (total of about 31 hours and probably could last another few with light use). That was moderate use with blend being used for most of the day on Wednesday.

I went ahead and installed the hacked Google play services to run some android apps on Saturday. On Sunday, I took the phone out and went out. Little did I know the battery life crapped out and it was draining like crazy. I tried figuring out what's wrong today, and deleted a whole pile of android apps to no avail. I deleted the hacked Google play services, and voila, battery life now back to normal.
