I have PP syndrome - I can't put the thing down

At work, I use it as a communication device (ie. a phone), sms, text, email. After 10-12 hours the battery is still at 80%+. Get home and blast the thing with web/video/3d games etc for several hours continuously and it still has 20-30% left. Theoretically enough for another day at work. If I didn't use it at night, I could get several days. At gsmarena, they had something like 10 hours continuous video playback. If you get less than this, then something is wrong

UPS dropped it off at 1:30. Messed around with set up and then charged it while running errands. Guess it is settling in.

I think I realized why I and others see less than 20 hours and the others who get two to three days. In my opinion, I think it's LTE, I'm always on LTE and average 15 hours with fairly decent use, according to instant I put on average about 210 minutes per day. I'm guessing it has to do with the power consumption of LTE vs 4G, which makes sense, either way, I'm not complaining since I charge my phone every night anyways.

Moderate use, probably 1.5 days while on 3G/H+. If on wifi, could go up to 2 full days. My brightness is lowest though. And on official OS. But for sure it will last a good 24 hours of heavy use( unless you use the GPS for whole day).

The picture below is when I'm on 3G alternating with WIFI due to Passport 's spotty wifi issues

Well I'm for everyone getting good battery life on their passports but I'm disappointed. One major reason I got this phone was for the long battery life. However I'm lucky if I get a few hours out of it.
As you can see by the screen shot, nothing impressive. I do play a few games on my device but mostly I use it for communication such as emails, wattpad, whatsapp etc.
I would say I'm a heavy user, though is sucks that the battery still doesn't last as long as I had hoped.

Im a moderate user and my passport's battery usually is able to last me 2 full days. Sometimes with heavy use, it lasts only a day or so.

For me, with NFC turned off but of course with LTE on, I get two days if I *don't use* the phone. However, if I actually use my device - mostly web browsing and a few apps for websites (heise online, Golem) - I get maybe nine hours. So battery life is okay but really nothing to write home about, unfortunately.

I'll probably receive about 18 hours but this is my first full day of using the device. I wanna hope it's still settling like some users have experienced with their device. Loving my new Red Passport by the way!!

I did a wipe and reinstalled everything and now I get 24 hrs of pretty heavy usage. I'm in sales so I'm on my phone all day and get a boat load of emails. I shouldn't have to reinstall everything, but my second setup took 30 mins(compared to 4 hrs for the first) and this phone is an all day warrior now

I'd say two days for the battery, give or take some heavy phone use and listening to music via bluetooth in the car.

One thing for sure, I don't worry about my battery draining like I did with my Z10.

With radios on (BT, LTE, WiFi) and even an OS update over WiFi the phone is predicting 3 days of usage. Quite good given that we live in an area where cell coverage wanes and waxes so the radio is frequently in re-connect mode. The actual signal strength of cellular reception is about the same as an Android HTC One on ATT. I had hoped for better since the HTC case was metal. Without a Wilson yagi and a rebroadcast radio node in the house it would be dismal.

Mine barely last one day....7:00 AM off charger...play with it the whole day...less than 10% by 6:00 PM. I guess it's because I'm loving my PP so much hahaha. Yes mine too gets hot near the volume buttons. And the battery drains even faster if you're in a low signal coverage.

After a day of heavy use I'll be on 40% before I put in the charger for the night - give or take 5%. Sometimes more.
I find it's very dependent on what you use it for. I run BlackBerry apps only. BBM, twitter, email, CB, Remember, Calendar and a little bit of calls. Have a lot of work documents on the phone as well.
When I browse the web I notice some websites (using flash maybe?) makes my phone a bit warm in the the corner top right and battery drain increases.
My screen is on 25%. Both mobile data and Wifi is on always. Bad reception really drains the battery fast!
All in all I'm very happy! I don't concern myself with the battery life anymore, a first for me

Look at the screenshots showing use. Anything under 20% screen use is very light for me.
