Almost a year, no scren lift. Don't jam it in your back pocket or sit on it while driving. Easy peasy

I got mine at launch. No screen lift, no double-type, some lag with the phone app. I do notice since the double-type patch that some legitimate double letters (like the l in still) won't show.

Still love it a year into it.

I had my screen lift once. I sat on it real hard when I jumped into my vehicle and had it inside my back pocket (not where I usually carry it but for some reason that time I had). That hurt. When I looked at it closely, the top right corner of the screen would move when I applied pressure. I noticed that the actual frame of it was bent.

So, I twisted it back and it's been absolutely fine ever since! No movement on the screen whatsoever.

I also dropped it into a baby bath tub and it was completely submerged for a few panicked seconds. It never shut off on its own (I shut it off) and put it in the old 'bag of rice' and, to my amazement, the next day it still worked absolutely fine! The Passport is a beast!!!

I've had the screen lift issue for 4+months. I have NEVER dropped it or carried it in my back pocket. But yet BlackBerry Support told me it's because of abuse. I gave them links to blogs/posts showing many complaints of this issue but they still claim it happens from abuse. I spent $700 on this thing and BlackBerry refuses to honor it's warranty. Of course, it still performs as designed, which they use as an argument.

    BlackBerry or your reseller?
Call BlackBerry tech support. If you paid full price you should have their direct number.

Screen lift(?), it is a flat piece of glass the frame would have to be bent away to give the illusion of lifting. No frame bending happening here or any other "issues". Purchased mine when first released by BlackBerry.

There are 2 supposed reasons for screen lift.

1- battery under high temps increases volume and lifts screen
    2- frame torsions

In my case 11 months with a OG and no problems, just microphone issue.

Picked mine up on launch day, 394 days ago. No lift or any problems whatsoever. I carry it naked in belt holster through the week (when I have my company issued iPhone in my pocket). On weekends, it's in the OEM hard shell in my pocket.

I recently bought SE and straight out of the box there is a slight screen lift in the top right corner. I am sure it will get worse over time. For now I can accept it. But it's sad they have not addressed this with SE.

The screens on the 2 SE's I temporarily owned was not completely flush with the frame. While it's basically flush at the top, the bottom part of the screen was actually a little sunken in.

I wouldn't call it screen lift, but the build quality certainly could've been better.

My phone is over a year old, and I don't even know what this screen lift is...!

My phone is used out in the bush, and comes with me skiing and dirtbiking constantly.

    Never had one single problem.

Best phone I have EVER had!!

I clicked this on my Passport.
