I am thinking about purchasing the passport in the near future. The screen lift thread has made me reluctant to do so. If you fellow crackberrians can please let me know if you haven't had screen lift and how long you've had your passport.

Have had my Passport for a year now with no screen lift issues. I never put it in my back pocket though, and that seems to be the common factor

I got mine a month ago of a friend who used it in the begining last year for a month! He stored it and gave it to me! No lift issues to report! Just an amazin phone is all thats to report! Haha!

2 months in with SE, no e-shoe, and haven't read anything on screen related issue so far for that particular model.

I've had the screen lift issue for 4+months. I have NEVER dropped it or carried it in my back pocket. But yet BlackBerry Support told me it's because of abuse. I gave them links to blogs/posts showing many complaints of this issue but they still claim it happens from abuse. I spent $700 on this thing and BlackBerry refuses to honor it's warranty. Of course, it still performs as designed, which they use as an argument.

Over a year here with no lift. I carry it in my pocket, hiking pack, and find it between the couch cushions when I fall asleep sending a BBM message.
