Well, long story short, my Passport blew both my LG V10 and my wife Priv out of the water when it come to using GPS for cross country road trips.

The Passport went 16 hrs straight using GPS not plugged in and lasted for the full trip. Where as the Android phones both died out after about 2 hours each.

Of course I would turn the screens off, but for some reason the Android phones would over heat still and drain the batteries rapidly, where the Passport wouldn't.

Another great win for my Passport.

While on a trip with friends, we found our Z30 gave better turn by turn directions than our friends' Samsung with Google Maps. That being said, I now have the Priv; I have not really had a chance to use GMaps yet.

I've found Gmaps and BBmaps to be equally good with directions.

But BB10 devices seem to wipe the floor with Android phones when using navigation and conserving battery.

2813 is a great OS. Best for Droid and play store. There isn't a better battery life anywhere than a BB10 Passport
