As you consider your device options going forward, let's say for the next 12-18 months, are you content carrying a Passport only (on your person)? Or do you find yourself (even though a lover of the Passport) having to compensate for the lack of apps and stellar camera by carrying a 2nd device with you? Or even still, are you one that has moved on from the Passport already (or will do so once the KeyONE drops) and content to just have the memories of a once great device in the BlackBerry Passport?

I'll chime in to get the ball rolling. I have two devices (Passport and iPad) but I'm still very content carrying only the Passport with me as it's a true asset in helping me live my life and stay productive. I can get through my day without the heavy multimedia, social media and gaming lifestyle, until I get home at least and it's time to relax a little.

    Curious to know your take...

My passport is what I use for anything secure. Phones should have a higher standard of security and not just be for media consumption. For a second device for media consumption, I use a heavily modified and stripped android tablet.

I have a few devices. The majority is done on my passport se but I also carry and iPhone and have an iPad at home as well.

My secondary phone usually switches between an android device and the iphone depending on what I'm doing.

Carrying passport OG as primary daily driver. It does everything I need it to do. iPhone 6 plus for gaming and other brainless activity.

In the old days, BlackBerry wasn't a phone, it was more like a PDA, meaning many people had a BlackBerry and a cell phone. Do you think this is a viable option for today, except having BlackBerry be our phone and communication device and also carry around something else for multimedia, camera, social media and gaming? That seems like the way to go for many who won't want to let their Passport go. The only problem is that the Passport and any other device you would carry around would be pretty big to have in your pocket, purse or satchel. It would get unwieldy quick. Thoughts?

Right now I dual carry. I have the Passport for all communication and use the Priv for the app gap.

If I can ever get used to berrydroid as a daily driver, I will pick up the K1 and hopefully use that.

    My current setup:
    - Passport SE for all business and very important personal communication
    - secondary Android device for the rest (criteria: IP certification, good battery life).
I see no reason to change this setup unless my Passport dies and I can not find a replacement.

By the way, in order to prepare myself for future, I have installed BB Hub+ services on my Samsung and... was not impressed. Another reason to keep BB10 device for as long as possible.

For as long as possible I would use passport for daily driver. Calls, emails, bbm - not much of a socmed user.

Both my Passports and Q10 have been on the night stand for almost 6 months now, I've exclusively dual carried the Classic and iphone 6plus since then.

I'm sure I can get it all done with just the iphone but I'm tied to the pkb and email set up of BlackBerry.

Just the Passport, it does everything i ask of it and does it extremely well. App gap? What app gap? Everything i need is there. Native android or apple may have eleventy-four squllion more apps but do i need or want any of them? Nope.

The PP SE is my only device ATM and I've never carried more than one phone, tablets either with exception of a few rare moments. I'm a minimalist at heart but I have been toying with idea of a 2nd device lately. I'm hesitant of switching to a different os but the KeyOne could be the make or break. I'll most likely wait for the K2 and just keep rolling with my PP.

What apps would you need. A life without social media apps is the best social life you can have

And all the games are bad anyway, short high score games with timers and limitations, unless you pay for extra time or something is no game I would like to play.

I'm trying to single wield the Priv as of now.

I'm hoping to get used to BlackBerry Android in anticipation of the K1. If I can get used to it as a daily driver, I'll pick it up. If not, I'll switch back to the Passport/Classic and use the Priv as an app device again.
