I have had the Passport for a few days now. LOVE IT.

Still getting used to the typing and picking up speed. I have big hands, so its nice. Still a 2-hander but waaaay more pros than cons.

Not nearly as big as what I expected/read/thought, which leads me to say that the Passport is more pocket friendly than the Note 3, iPhone 6+, HTC M8 and other taller phones.

I wear skinny jeans. I wear slimmer clothes.
The Passport is much easier to put in a pocket and sit down while still in the pocket.
You can't do this with other taller phones.

...so wtf was everyone saying or even questioning about the "pocketability" of this phone?
Because of the squarish and shorter shape, I find it that it is actually more easier if anything. Yes it is wide-er, but not wider than a pocket !! (unless you wear infant clothing !!).

It seems as if the iOS and Android lovers are just trying to find a reason to knock it when in fact it is much better.

Wouldn't be surprised if this starts a trend of wider screens. Can't see phones going any taller.

Agree. I had the note 3 and found it to be a bit more awkward than the passport... Not as pocketable, but the passport is pretty good. Just wish people would stop judging, is all.

I have never seen a problem with pocketing the Passport, as I have been travelling quite a bit and a Passport does fit everywhere.

Since it is short gland just marginally wider, it is easier on any pocket

It's too big for the back pocket of my jeans. Fine when walking around, but pokes out when sitting. Yes, I always sit on my phone and wallet. Stay balanced that way.

I'm a bit afraid to place it in a nice suit jacket pocket or shirt pocket as it seems to wide, sharp, and heavy.

Sitting on the phone eh...I just get bad feelings about that.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of pressure rating the Passport has? Would it be able to support my 200lb a s s sitting on it?

    Edit: seriously...the word a s s gets censored!

Definitely! Thanks for posting. The ones that point out the awkwardness of the Passport, should try shoving an iphone6+ into their pockets and see how comfortable they feel.

There is no problem whatsoever with polo shirts. If in doubt, just take your real Passport and try it out. Even the thickness are similar

Yes, it's not nearly as tall. With bugger phones like the Note sitting with skinny jeans will literally force it to stick out the pocket, possibly slipping out. Won't happen with the Passport.

I am carrying a lot of stuff with me and the 200g don't bother me at all. It is pretty much the same weight as all the other phones...

I completely agree OP. I usually keep mine in my shirt pocket and it fits nicely width-wise and you only see the very top of the device. Even the iPhone 6 (let alone the 6+) is taller, which, depending on your pocket, could make it more unwieldy than the Passport.

I find it a bit more comfortable then my Z10 was. The Z10 would move and twist around in my pocket and often end up jamming into me when sitting down. Especially when getting into the car. Naturally, the Passport fills the pocket more and stays in place.

In other words, the width of the Passport is more comfortable than the length of a horizontal Z10.

I find the Passport about as comfortable in a pocket as any device. That being said, I have never truly been comfortable with a phone in my pocket. Ok, maybe the tiny Torch 9860 was easy.

I'm still waiting for some nice spring clip holster (hopefully sideways) to come out.

Here's what I did. I made a paper cutout of the passports size (had to Google for dimensions) so I could get a good idea how it would fit in shirt pocket etc. Have to say (if my calculations are correct) it's fine!

I have a note 3 and a passport, both fit in the pocket fine, but it's true since the passport is not as tall it fits a lot better and you don't notice it as much when walking around

I've also tried putting a 6 plus in my pocket, it is much slimmer than the other 2 but it way, way too tall and you notice it when sitting, etc

BB did an awesome job on thePassport that's for sure
