I'm planning to buy a Passport outright, here in Asia/Australia. Anyone know how many variants of the Passport are there? I hope to get one that works globally.

There's two variants, and one is only sold by one carrier in one country (AT&T in America). The other one (SQW100-1) is sold worldwide.

Hi, I bought mine at Optus in-store, they can order it in, but won't have stock. You might have to be a little persistent... :-)

I wish the carriers would take the Passport seriously because it's truly a great phone and the most under rated.
