Has anybody tried out the Passport with Miracast? If yes please recommend a device that works well. Brand model number and where did you buy it.

I'm torn between using Miracast and Slimport to show my screen. I'm leaning toward Miracast because I dont have to fiddle with the same port. I already use it for USB OTG and charging.

Actually I'm still trying getting to work on Sony TV. For some reason all my other blackberries connect to the TV except for the Passport. Always give the error "could not connect"

I am having a problem connecting my passport to my Samsung TV even with a slimport but never had a problem my Z10,Q10 and Z30. I'm guessing 10.3 bug for me.

Would you be so kind and post the model? My LG says 'device is not supported'.

    Thank you.

I have no lag at all, even if I stream the sound in bluetooth at the same time, think that can't handle my Z30. I'm using ptv3000 from Netgear

Coins: most of the apps are steamed in 1:1 ratio, which is ferry ugly on a flat screen

Which model of push2tv are you using? I'm looking for something that is around $30...

Both push2tv 2000 and 3000 models are priced in the $60's. Seem to be a bit expensive.

Using the Asus dongle you will expirience lag. It's not a wired connection so you should reasonably expect that. If you are looking to play games then you will be disappointed, if you are presenting then you will be satisfied.

It would work fine, the audio and video are in sync just if you were watch both screens there is a slight delay on broadcast.

It works. I have 2 of the NetGear Push2TV3000 devices. I also have a slimport to hdmi cable for times when I need to present to a non-smart TV. Both work well, but less lag with the cable.

I don't have a passport but I just bought the Microsoft wireless display adapter and it works well with my Z30. Yes scrolling and video games there's a slight delay, however for video the sound and video sync is great.

I have used the IOGEAR GWAVR and it works well for youtube videos, gaming seems to lag a bit though.

Haven't tried movies but I would assume they would work well like YouTube.

    Presentations work well also.

I have both Slimport to HDMI and Netgear PTV3000 and both work better than trying to get my Bose Soundlink Bluetooth speaker synced properly with Netflix video. But more stuff needs to have "Play on" functionality, imo. Some apps, even in the browser seem to support it and some don't. Http://m.hockeystreaming.com preview worked well (works on flash and 10.3.1 may not have flash when released), widescreen worked on my TV, but wasn't high quality. But this is likely a function of the free preview quality. Unfortunately my BBW purchased videos won't "Play on" due to licensing restrictions. Some things are still better watching on my Z30. Good thing both support Miracast.

Rockin a Passport and Z30! Two devices are better than 1!

    I got mine from shop.blackberry.com - https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=C3RddGGV

I think it a bit of a ripoff price wise, but I bought a cable from Amazon that doesn't work. I don't see brand info, but they both work and that's what I needed. These cables may be the same on Amazon for other phones and probably cheaper if you can find them.
