I just got my Passport today and looked on the side of the box and was shocked to see 161014

From what I know about BB's that means my phone was made just recently.

I was curious if anyone else would post their manufacture date and if they have seen any of the problems that have gained attention here. Like screen lifting or light bleed, or logo falling off.

Just curious if those bad devices all fall under a close range of manufacturing dates.

Edit: Only thing that I can think might become an issue on my phone right now is the spacebar is super spongy. The other keys are firm with a click and don't take much to hit but the space bar feels like it takes a lot more to push it and that it sinks all the way in.

As far as I know those dates are just the date that they boxed it not necessarily the manufacturing date. All there shouldn't be much of a discrepancy at this point in time.

250914... Not one problem regarding build quality! Have not had any of the issues that some have complained about; not a scratch, logo issue, etc. A few minor quirks in the OS resolved via Sachesi Rogers Canada 10.3.0.908 non-destructive update with no backup (easy as OTA, download and install).

Mine is 101014 and so far no issues. Build seems solid I also ordered mine on Oct 4 and received on Oct 20

I have 2--both are 13/10/14 and absolutely NO build problems. I have no case for either and have had them since 22/10/14 and 23/10/14.

I notice one other thing in this thread... manufacturing (boxing) dates in October would give credence to the fact that they did underestimated demand and ran out of stock. In particular, these two comments...
